Lena Krauẞer
Lena completed her Master of Sciences in Biomedical Sciences – Tropical and Infectious Diseases at the University of Antwerp in 2020. In January 2021 she started her PhD project at the Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences and joined the TORCH team in Antwerp. She will combine wet lab work with bioinformatics to optimise the workflow of culture-free whole genome sequencing of Mycobacterium tuberculosis directly on sputum samples.
Lena is currently working on her PhD dissertation, titled: “Laboratory and Bioinformatics Innovations towards Culture-free Whole Genome Sequencing of Mycobacterium tuberculosis”.
